Job Description
Hours: Initially flexible/as required, moving to 4 on 4 off
Job Type: Temp to Perm / Ongoing
Location: Edinburgh
Pay: £13.50
We are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our busy team. Initially, you will need to be flexible and available to work as and when required, before moving onto a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
This is a very physically demanding warehouse role, involving regular heavy lifting and moving large sofas and bulky goods. This is not a light warehouse position and candidates must be physically fit.
Duties include:
Loading vans with goods for the following day's deliveries.
Unloading sofas and other goods from the head depot.
Moving and organising heavy stock.
General warehouse duties.
Sweeping and keeping the warehouse clean and tidy.
Working safely as part of a busy team.
About You:
Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual work.
Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
Flexible and willing to work as required initially.
Able to work well as part of a team.
Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
Important: this is heavy manual work and requires a good level of physical fitness.
