• CV Parsing: When you upload your CV, we use AI to read it and suggest the qualifications, work history and skills to add to your profile. You see the suggestions first, and nothing is added to your profile until you save it.
• Who Reads Your CV: To do this, we send the text of your CV through OpenRouter, a service that connects us to AI models, to the MiniMax AI model run by Together AI. They may process it outside the UK.
• Automated Matching: Algorithms compare your parsed profile against active employer job descriptions.
• Score Ranking: The AI generates a relevance score to rank your profile for employers and trigger email alerts.
• No Final Decisions: The AI only recommends and filters; final hiring decisions are made solely by human employers.

2. Legal Basis for AI Processing

• Explicit Consent: You provide clear consent for profiling when checking the box during account registration.
• Contractual Necessity: This automated sorting is required to deliver the fast, free matching service we promise.

3. Data Shared with Employers via AI

• Profile Matching: Employers see your matching score and relevant skills matching their specific job criteria.
• Privacy Controls: Your contact details are hidden or revealed based on your account privacy selection.

4. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

• Right to Object: You can opt out of automated profiling at any time from your profile page, under "Your Privacy", or by contacting us. Once you do, we won't use AI to read your CV.
• Human Intervention: You have the right to contest an automated match or request a manual human review.
• Data Portability: You can request a digital copy of the parsed data our AI has extracted from your profile.
• Withdrawal Impact: Withdrawing consent for AI processing will limit our ability to match you with jobs automatically.
