Job Description
Labourers
Sure Recruitment Livingston are currently recruiting for Labourers to join our busy client's team.
Our client operates a large-scale scrap metal recycling facility, processing, sorting and exporting metal while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Sorting and segregating scrap metals for processing and recycling.
Loading and unloading vehicles and assisting with the movement of materials around the yard.
Supporting plant operators and processing teams with daily operational tasks.
Identifying different grades of metal and removing contaminants where required.
Handling heavy and construction materials safely.
Following all health, safety and environmental procedures.
Working outdoors in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Carrying out physically demanding tasks while maintaining excellent communication and teamwork.
What We're Looking For:
Hardworking and reliable individuals with a positive attitude.
Comfortable carrying out manual and physically demanding work.
Ability to work safely in a busy industrial yard environment.
Previous experience within recycling, construction, manufacturing, waste management or other industrial environments is advantageous but not essential.
A willingness to learn and work as part of a close-knit team.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday
07:30 starts
Own transport is advantageous due to the location and early start times

Rates:
£12.71ph
Benefits:
WEEKLY PAY!!!
On the job training provided.
Progression throughout the company
Main Requirements:
Working as part of a team picking construction materials from a conveyor belt. Separating metals for shredding.
Handling heavy/construction materials therefore experience of working in similar conditions is beneficial.
General maintenance and cleaning of machines
Ability to work to physically demanding tasks with good communication skills.
Shifts requirements:
Monday to Friday
07:30 to 17:00
Own transport is advantageous due to the location and start times.
