We are looking for a reliable, physically fit 3.5 Tonne Van Driver to join our busy sofa delivery and installation team.

This is NOT just a driving job. You will be delivering sofas to customers' homes, carrying and manoeuvring very heavy furniture, and building/assembling sofas on site.

You will always work as part of a driver and mate team and will never go out alone. Full on-the-job training will be provided, including sofa building and safe handling.

The role includes:

• Driving a 3.5 tonne van.

• Delivering sofas to customers' homes.

• Heavy lifting and carrying.

• Moving furniture up stairs and through tight spaces.

• Building and assembling sofas.

• Working as part of a two-person team.

• Providing a professional service to customers.

We are looking for:

• A reliable and punctual person.

• Someone physically fit and capable of repeated heavy lifting.

• A hardworking team player.

• A full UK driving licence with 3.5T entitlement.

• Someone willing to learn and get stuck in.

IMPORTANT: This is very heavy physical work. Sofas can be extremely heavy and awkward to manoeuvre. If you are looking for a job that is mainly driving with minimal lifting, this is not the role for you.

Full training provided.

4 days on / 4 days off. Shift times are 0700-1900.

Pay: £13.50 per hour
