Hours: 07:00–19:00
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off
Job Type: Temp to Perm
We are currently looking for a reliable and physically fit Porter / Driver’s Mate to join our client’s team.
This is a very physically demanding role involving heavy lifting, loading and unloading sofas, and working out on the road as part of a two-person team.
The Role:
Working as a Driver’s Mate/Porter out on the road
Loading, unloading and carrying heavy sofas
Assisting with building and assembling sofas at customers’ homes
Full training will be provided – no previous sofa assembly experience is required
Working as part of a team
Following instructions and providing good customer service
About You:
Reliable and punctual
Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
Happy working long shifts and being out on the road
A positive, hardworking attitude
Able to work well as part of a team
This is genuinely heavy work, so candidates must be comfortable with a physically demanding role.
