HGV-Class 1 (C+E) Driver

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Broxburn, West Lothian, for 12-week temp-to-perm opportunities. This is an excellent chance to join a well-established operation offering consistent work, competitive pay, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Shift Pattern

• 4 On / 4 Off

• Tramping positions available

• Immediate starts available

• £31.40 overnight rate

The Role

Working from the West Lothian area, you will be responsible for delivering fresh produce to RDCs across Scotland and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Completing deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs).

• Transporting fresh produce safely and efficiently.

• Ensuring all goods are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition.

• Assisting with unloading where required, with some deliveries involving self-tipping.

• Operating an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) when necessary.

• Completing all vehicle checks and delivery paperwork accurately.

What We're Looking For

• Valid C+E (Class 1) Licence.

• Ideally a minimum of 1 year's Class 1 driving experience.

• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.

• Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card.

• Previous RDC delivery experience is advantageous.

• Experience using an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) is preferred.

• Ability to successfully complete a driving assessment and site induction before starting.
