Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced 3.5T Van Driver to work with our client based in Leith, Edinburgh.

This is a hands-on delivery role involving the safe and efficient delivery of goods to customers and sites across the local area and surrounding locations. The driver will work alongside a Driver’s Mate, who will assist with deliveries and loading/unloading.

  • Driving a 3.5-tonne van safely and responsibly.

  • Completing scheduled deliveries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Loading and unloading goods from the vehicle.

  • Carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling as part of the delivery process.

  • Working closely with your Driver’s Mate to complete deliveries efficiently.

  • Ensuring goods are handled carefully and delivered without damage.

  • Monday to Friday

  • 7:00am start

  • Approximately 8-hour shifts

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence with the appropriate entitlement to drive a 3.5T vehicle.

  • Previous experience driving a 3.5T van.

  • Good knowledge of Edinburgh and the surrounding areas is advantageous.

  • Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
