We are seeking a professional and reliable HGV Class 1 (Flex) driver to join our clients team. This role involves flexible scheduling - days, nights and weekends - and offers the opportunity to work on a variety of delivery routes. Duties

• Operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently across designated routes.

• Handle flatbed loads with care, ensuring securement and compliance with safety regulations.

• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.

• Deliver goods to various locations, adhering to scheduled timings and route plans.

• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and vehicle logs.

• Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues.

• Follow all health and safety protocols during loading, unloading, and transit operations.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with a clean driving record.

• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed loads and delivery routes (minimum of 12 months at Cat C+E).

• Experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.

• Flexibility to work various shifts as per operational needs.

• Good organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation.

• Ability to undertake manual handling tasks when required.
