HGV Class 1 Night Trunk Drivers

We are currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Night Trunk Drivers for ongoing work with a well-established logistics operation.

This is a great opportunity for reliable drivers looking for Monday to Friday night work, weekly pay and consistent hours.

The Work

The role involves a variety of linehaul/trunking runs, including:

• Glasgow: 17:00 start – trunk through to Glasgow, assist with loading, return to the depot, swap trailers and continue to Carlisle.

• Carnforth: Single-manned trunk runs.

• Birmingham: Double-manned trunk runs.

• Coventry: Double-manned trunk runs.

Drivers may be required on some shifts to pull cages/pallets to the rear of the trailer ready for loading or unloading. Forklift trucks are then used to load/unload where applicable.

What We're Looking For

To be considered, you must have:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence

• Held your licence for a minimum of 1 year

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card

• Valid DCPC/CPC qualification

• Previous Class 1 trunking/haulage experience

• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and working time regulations

• A reliable and professional attitude

• Be comfortable with some manual handling of cages/pallets
