Class 1 Day Trunk Drivers – £17.75 per hour

Sure Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Class 1 (HGV C+E) Day Drivers for ongoing work with a well-established logistics operation.

This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for Monday to Friday work, weekly pay and consistent hours.

The Work

The role involves a mixture of trunking and collection work, including:

• Aberdeen: Early starts between 04:15–05:45, travelling through to Aberdeen, assisting with offload and completing collections on the return journey

• Perth: Starts between 05:30–06:00, travelling to Perth, assisting with the offload and completing collections on the return journey.

• Some manual handling may be required, including pulling cages/pallets to the rear of the trailer ready for loading or unloading.

• Forklift trucks are used where applicable to assist with loading and unloading.

What We're Looking For

To be considered, you must have:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Held your licence for a minimum of 1 year

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card

• Valid DCPC/CPC qualification

• Previous Class 1 driving experience

• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and working time regulations

• A reliable and professional attitude

• Comfortable with some manual handling of cages/pallets
