Forklift driver - counterbalance - day shift

This is an ongoing position, working with a friendly company who have lots of opportunities to progress in the production industry.

As our next Forklift driver, you’ll be a key piece of our process, responsible for loading and unloading potato boxes on to HGV vehicles, and stacking boxes within our storage sheds on site. You will be a vital member of the team to ensure we meet our customers expectations. Not only would you be building your own personal development skills, but you will make a difference across the whole business. Day-to-day duties will involve;

• Quality- ensuring the product meets customer specifications through effective stock rotation.

• Teamwork- Communicating effectively within your teams and other areas of the business, to ensure smooth operations, and customer orders are fulfilled.

• Health & Safety- Role modelling health and safety best practices at all times. Carrying out daily checks on equipment

The right candidate will have;

• Valid counter balance forklift ticket

• Effective communication skills

• Resilience

• Ability to work at own initiative

Shift Pattern:

(A)Dayshift:

Wednesday - 12.00 to 18.00

Thurs/Fri/Sat - 05.30 to 18.00

(B) Dayshift:

Sunday - 07.15 to 18.00

Mon/Tue - 06.45 to 19.30

Wednesday - 06.45 to 13.00

RATE : £14.61 Day Shift

SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Ability to work on your own initiative

· Work within a fast-paced environment
