Supporting the Salvation Army's Family Appeal

Giving as many underprivileged children as possible the joy of opening a present on Christmas day.

In winter 2019 we decided that each office would support their local  Salvation Army* ‘family appeal’- designed to give as many underprivileged children as possible the joy of opening a present on Christmas day.

According to government statistics, 1 in 4 children are currently living in poverty and providing Christmas presents for children can place additional pressure on families where budgets are already incredibly stretched, with many families turning to charities like The Salvation Army for support; using foodbanks and other donations to help them through the Christmas period.

Each office became an official drop off centre for the appeal and we also contributed as a business alongside the office staff themselves bringing gifts/ toys in for this great cause.

“We had nothing to give the children on Christmas Day until you arrived with your parcel of food and toys. I’ll never forget the kids’ squeals of delight when they opened their presents.”

“I wouldn’t have a Christmas at all without The Salvation Army”

We were delighted to be able to help and below are some photos from this appeal along with a thank you letter from the Salvation Army centre in Livingston, where our Livingston office donated their gifts to.

*The Salvation Army in Belfast organise a joint appeal with St Vincent De Paul, hence we are supporting both charities in Northern Ireland.
